Article writing is one of the easiest ways to earn money 
online nowadays. Hundreds of websites open daily and 
each of them require original keyword rich articles each
day to keep their website up. There are many websites 
online that have an online account for their users

where the users can submit their artices and earn 
some money online either by upfront payments or by page
view payments. Hence, it becomes really easy for users 
to earn money online by article writing.

Article writing websites such as Associated Content pay 
writers upfront for their submissions. Though the pay is
not as much as you can earn by writing for magazines, 
but something is better than nothing. Magazines typically
pay their writers around $50 per article submitted (many
pay as low as 10 $ and many pay as high as 250 $), these
websites too pay somewhere between 1$ to 10$. But the 
magazines require you to submit very high quality articles
and the rejection rates are very high. This is not the 
case with these article writing companies. The rejection 
rates are lower and so is the pay. Hence, it is wise to 
begin with these websites if you are starting to earn 
money through article writing.

Article writing websites such as Helium and ezine are 
much better if you are looking to build links for your 
blog or your website, but they do not pay anything 
upfront to their writers. Though Helium has started to 
offer upfront payments, it is not substantial enough to
keep the writers interested only via upfront payments. 
Hence, if you wish to build links for blogs or websites,
join these companies. Do not join these if you are 
looking to earn money online via article writing.

1. Associated Content [9/10]

AC pays writers to write any type of content which users are likely to search on the net. They will typically pay you in from 1$ to $10 depending on the type of content you write for them. You wil have to verify your phone number to receive payments and you receive payments via Paypal.You will also get paid $1.50 per 1000 page views.

Pros: One of the few websites that pays upfront.

Cons: Strict rules for submission, pays only to people from USA, may deactivate account if content is found to be plagiarised.

2. Makmoon.com [6/10]

Makmoon.com is a website that gives its users free information on how to earn money online. It also accepts submission from its users and pays them 1 USD per article selected and approved.

You will need to send your articles to administrator@makmoon.com. At least 3 articles daily with a fixed pay scale of 1 dollar. Available to people from all over the world. Grammatical mistakes should be avoided.

3. Helium.com [4/10]

Helium is the best if you want to get links to your website by writing articles, but they do not pay anything upfront at all. They only pay for the performance payments.

They have started to pay upfront but it is really too low and depends on your grade with them.

4. Demand Studios [6/10]

Demand Studios is one of the best paying article writing sites on the internet today. It pays its writers anywhere between $10 to $15 per article that they accept. The selection process is tough though and it is really professional. You will have to submit a resume and an application which is there at the website to be accepted as a writer at their website. Try to write two really good articles on the channel in which you wish to write at Demand Studios and then submit then to any other site mentioned above such as Associated Content and then show Demand Studios that you have already written two quality articles in the channel. This will strengthen your chances of selection as a writer with Demand Studios. The Good thing about this site is that it is a really high paying website and it pays via Paypal too.

5. ReviewStream [4/10]

Have anything to say about a hotel or restaurant you recently visited? Or something to write about the new model of mobile phone that you recently purchased? You can write a review for it. Yes, there are many websites online that pay you for taking reviews of products. But the best of all these websites, according to me, is Review Stream. This is with regards to the payments they make. They pay in two ways. Either you will get the standard rate which is $2 right now or you will be paid at the bulk rate which is 0.40 dollar or 1/5th of the standard rate at that time. The rates change nearly every month. Sometimes, they increase while at other times, they decrease.

I have personally tried reviewstream and have earned the minimum payout that it requires which is $50. This means that at the standard rate, you will have to write around 25 good reviews in order to be paid. The good thing is that they don't have any word limit. But I think that the chances of the selection of your review increases with an increase in the number of words in the review.

The only bad thing about this site is that this site does not have any my account system or my admin system. They keep a track of your email address earnings. For ex., If I send a review with my email id administrator@makmoon.com and the review is selected, my email id account will be credited with 2 dollars. But, there won't be anything as the my account page.

Reviewstream also credits your email address account with 1USD when 10 people read your reviews and vote them as helpful to them.
